It was last Friday, the 15th of May 2009, when my office colleagues and I'd decided to go out for a couple of drinks. We were five of us initially but eventually just three were left (as usual); one amongst them being me. We were still thinking about the place when we found ourselves in front of HRC (Hard Rock Cafe)- Bengaluru. I've been there more than a couple of times but my other two friends were first timers.
It was the day when the Canadian performer, Karl Wolf was gonna come down to one of the most happening places in Bangalore, HRC! So we decided to enter paying a princely amount of Rs 750/- per person (mind that there are no entry charges on normal days). However, now that we were there, we decided to experience it. The place was already house-full with guys and gals (hot) continuously walking in. So, started off with a couple of beers and to my surprise one friend of mine, guzzled down the pints faster than I did...He was having beer just for the second time in his life!Guess its the ambiance of the place that makes you to allow yourself to be drunk (just a bit-We follow traffic rules of Bangalore- “Don't drink and drive”...lolzzz). The attendant over there showed us a couple of mind-blowing tricks on the table as usual. In the midst of all this, it started raining and we'd to move inside. It seemed as if it was planned by the managers of HRC to give their customers a “different” experience. Mr Wolf was supposed to come at 9:30 p.m. He eventually arrived at around 10:15 p.m (like all celebrities) and the show started. We were told that he is from the R&B genre and to my surprise he was playing a bit of Hip-hop as well as a bit of House. I didn't know any of his songs, but who cares.....the music was awesome and the crowd was amazing. The company of my colleagues was perfect and we enjoyed ourselves to the core. One of my friends got on to the bar counter and started dancing before he was pulled down by the dangerous bouncers. Next, he offered a girl a dance and he actually danced with her!!! (And I, like a fool, stood clapping instead of shooting him on the camera...that would have been one “Kodak” moment).
We got sexy HRC tees from their merchandise section, and on my friends request, picked up the same for the both of us!!!! (I usually don't do that. But then beer can do such things to you!) Anyways, I hope the missed “Kodak” moments keep coming in life and we keep having fun at such rocking places.
Dude!!! It was hell of a time we had out there...I say it was fun from the beginning till the end. What girls..
