Fragrance, by far must be one of the most desired senses a man (sorry, a woman as well) would want to capture. I don't think there is a machine, yet, that can capture your favorite fragrance and play it for you whenever you fell like it. I am sure though, the Sonys, LGs and Samsungs of this world will not leave an opportunity to do that (innovation is the key to blue oceans strategy, right?).
Just imagine yourself sitting with a Fragrance Recorder in your room on a chilly winter afternoon and play the “water on hot soil” fragrance!!! I wonder why haven't our scientists thought about it! Hope they read my blog and start working towards it before USA takes on the patent even for my idea generation!!! Let me help you guys with some of the fragrances one would want to record on this awesome device.
Fragrance of;
1.First rains
2.Of your new car
3.Crisp notes from the ATM (my personal favorite.....;) )
4.New born baby (Johnson & Johnson in most cases in India)
5.Your favorite perfume
6.Your loved ones
7.Old / New books
8.Mum's food
9.New clothes
10.Forest and Woods
I am sure there are a lot more fragrances one would want to capture and play it later when we miss them the most. Well, this might have disadvantages as well, eg; Mum's food's fragrance when you can't actually have it can lead to disastrous effects on the user!!! But then, you'll always have an option to delete the intolerable fragrance like the one I just mentioned.
He he he....read it again and it still reminds me of "Jean-Baptiste Grenouille" the murderer from the movie Perfume-Story of a Murderer!
